Verbena’s mission is to build vibrant communities for Lesbians; Bisexual and Queer Women; and Transgender Individuals.

Verbena is proud to be a grassroots, nonprofit organization working toward health justice in Washington State LGBTQ communities.  We currently have 15 programs ranging from cancer support services to mobile health screenings to tobacco cessation groups to transgender health programming to LGBT cultural competency for health and human service providers.

Program areas include Access to Care, Support Services, Education and Advocacy.

"Not only does Verbena support women's health and lesbian and bi women's health, they support Transgendered person's health as well. This serves a very crucial role in our community and just one of the many reasons I think Verbena matters. I'm also incredibly grateful to Verbena for providing the Out to Quit Program and have been cigarette free now for 4.5 years!"--- A Community Member
